Highlights From My Trip to Tenerife

In my opinion, my week-long holiday in Tenerife this June was honestly one of the best trips I’ve ever had. I stayed for about seven days, and from the moment I arrived, the island just felt perfect — warm weather, bright skies, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that made it incredibly easy to switch into holiday mode.
One of the biggest reasons the trip felt so amazing was the all-inclusive hotel I stayed in. It was honestly better than I expected. The hotel rooms were great — big, clean, and super comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after long days of exploring. I loved coming back in the evening and feeling like I had my own little home on the Island. And the food… the food was genuinely so good. Every meal had lots of choice, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. It felt like there was always something new to try, and I never had a bad meal the entire week.
The hotel also offered a lot of activities during the day and in the evenings. There was always something going on — games, shows, music, sports, entertainment — you name it. It added a fun energy to the place, and even on the days when we stayed closer to the hotel, there was always something to do. It made the whole week feel lively and full, without ever feeling rushed.
Throughout the trip, the Spanish vibe was everywhere. It wasn’t just in the warm colors of the island or the music playing in the background — it was in the way people treated you. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and that made such a difference. Everywhere I went, people were kind, patient, and full of that easygoing Spanish charm. It made every moment feel even more enjoyable.
We also did a lot of activities outside the hotel. One of my favourite parts of the whole week was the road trip around the island. Tenerife’s landscapes change so quickly — one minute we were driving along the coastline with the ocean sparkling beside us, and the next we were climbing into the mountains or passing small towns with palm trees and white houses. Every stop felt like a new discovery.
Another highlight was visiting Mount Teide. In my opinion, it was absolutely breathtaking. The volcano’s landscape looked nothing like anything I’d ever seen before — volcanic rock, open plains, and total silence. Standing there made me feel tiny in the best possible way. It was one of those places where you can’t help but stop and take everything in.
And then there was the stargazing night, which was honestly magical. Up in the mountains, away from any lights, the sky looked massive. I had never seen so many stars at once in my life. The Milky Way was clear and bright, stretching across the sky like a glowing ribbon. It was peaceful, cold, and unforgettable — one of those moments that stays with you.
The whole trip had this perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, good food, and amazingweather. In my opinion, Tenerife gave me exactly what I needed: a break fromeverything, a chance to explore, and a week full of sunshine and good memories. If I ever get the chance to go back, I’d say yes immediately. Those seven days felt like a little slice of paradise, and I’d relive them again in a heartbeat.
